Woman that raped a teenager get 8 months in jail

Woman that raped a teenager get 8 months in jail

An Oregon woman who licked, groped and verbally harassed a female passenger during a flight from Las Vegas to Portland has been sentenced to eight months of home detention.

Heidi McKinney, 27, of Banks, declined to make a statement during Monday's sentencing at the federal courthouse in Portland, The Oregonian/OregonLive reported.

McKinney, who wrote a letter of apology to the victim, pleaded guilty in March to assault with intent to commit a felony.
In addition to home detention, McKinney was sentenced to three years on probation. She must also pay $3,000 restitution and abstain from alcohol.

McKinney was arrested 8 May, 2016, after the Alaska Airlines flight landed at Portland International Airport.

The 19-year-old victim told authorities she had been touched without consent.
Assistant US Attorney Ravi Sinha wrote in a sentencing memo last week that the abuse started before the plane departed.

Mr Sinha said McKinney, who appeared to have been drinking, tried to speak with the young woman, but the victim was reluctant.

The prosecutor said it was "partly because the way in which Ms McKinney had inappropriately touched the victim's chest, and partly because Ms McKinney's 'small talk' consisted of repeatedly insulting the victim's perceived economic status and bragging of her own purported wealth."
When the plane took off, things got worse, with the victim at one point putting a hat over her face to avoid McKinney. But McKinney persisted.

Mr Sinha said McKinney tried to pressure the woman into drinking alcohol she had smuggled on the plane, and subjected her to lewd taunts and physical aggression.
He said McKinney licked the victim's ear, forced her to touch her breasts and repeatedly placed her hand on the victim's crotch.

"Eventually — and in spite of the victim's repeated pleas for Ms McKinney to stop — the abuse culminated with Ms McKinney climbing on top of the victim and telling the victim she wanted to (expletive)," Mr Sinha wrote.

At that point, the victim asked the flight crew to be seated elsewhere.
Though Mr Sinha described McKinney's behaviour as shocking, he recommended a sentence with a focus on treatment.
McKinney admitted herself to an inpatient treatment centre in April after she was found unconscious at a local bar, the sentencing memo states.

A boy beaten to death in bar

Bakarri Henderson

Friends of the American tourist beaten to death on Friday after a fight erupted at a bar on an island in Greece are saying that he was a "peacemaker," and not the type of person to get into fights.
Bakari Henderson, a 22-year-old recent graduate of the University of Arizona, was at a bar on the Greek island of Zakynthos when a fight broke out with another group of people on Friday around 3 a.m. local time, according to police there. At least eight people have been arrested in connection with his killing, according to local police.

The fight escalated into a brawl and Henderson was battered to death in the street, police said.
His friend Travis Jenkins said this is uncharacteristic of Henderson.
"Bakari was not one to act aggressively like that," Jenkins told ABC News. "He was always the one who was the peacemaker."

The coroner told ABC News that Henderson suffered severe head injuries in the incident. All the strikes were to the head, and it appears and there were no defensive wounds on Henderson's body, the coroner added.
Henderson's body will be flown to Athens and then to the U.S. within two days. A toxicology report will be released in several weeks.
Pavlos Kolokotsas, the mayor of Zakynthos, told ABC News that both groups involved had been drinking extensively.

The investigation into the incident and Henderson’s death is ongoing. An autopsy has been carried out on Henderson, and results are expected early this week.

Police told ABC News that a British citizen of Serbian origin, who is temporarily employed in Greece as a bouncer, and a Greek national, who works at the bar in Zakynthos, were arrested Friday and named suspects in the beating death. Six Serbian tourists were also arrested after being identified on surveillance footage as having taken part in the brawl, police said.

The eight arrested so far appeared in court on Saturday night and pleaded not guilty, according to police.
A lawyer for one of the eight suspects said that his client has no criminal record. He said he caused some bodily harm, but didn’t have homicidal intent, and didn’t hit Henderson in the head. He said his client is "devastated, literally devastated."
"He did not hit (the victim) on the head, and death was caused by traumatic head injury," he said. "I am convinced that it will be proven that he was not the one who caused the death of the unfortunate American."

Friends and family face a painful loss

Sam Hindsman, another friend of Henderson, also told ABC News that the incident was difficult to process, given what he knew of Henderson's personality.
"Such a fun loving person and he's so easy going," Hindsman told ABC News of Henderson. "So many people just loved him, so it was hard to believe."
Friends set up a GoFundMe page in order to bring Henderson's body home and pay for his funeral. The page, which was started on Saturday, had already raised close to $20,000 by Sunday morning.
A description of Henderson on the page says that he "was just starting his life," and had "so many dreams and aspirations."

Henderson's family told ABC affiliate KVUE in Austin that a memorial service is being planned.
The statement mentioned that Henderson was in Greece working on a photoshoot to launch his new clothing line when he died.

"Bakari loved spending time with family and friends, traveling, and meeting new people," the family said in their statement. "He was a big thinker and enjoyed coming up with new business ventures. Bakari was an inspiration to all he met."

The University of Arizona issued a statement Friday on the news of Henderson's "untimely death."
"All of us at the University of Arizona are shocked and saddened by the loss of our recent graduate, Bakari Henderson," the university's president, Robert Robbins, said in the statement. "Our hearts and prayers are with his friends and family. I can only imagine the deep sense of loss they must be feeling at his untimely death. It is always a tragedy when a young life ends before it has really yet to begin."

NASA said NO to Trupm’s request

Trump Wanted NASA to Fly Past the Moon and They Just Said "No"

Not many people - and certainly not many government agencies - have the opportunity to say "no" to the president. However, NASA's acting director, Robert M. Lightfoot Jr., might be living your wildest fantasy: he just outright denied Donald Trump something he requested.

According to The New York Times, Lightfoot and his team at NASA recently rejected Trump's desire to add more crew to its Space Launch System's first flight. Citing cost and time, Lightfoot conceded that the White House's request was "technically feasible," but it would set the mission back considerably: additional crew members would cost an extra $600 to $900 million.

NASA's investigation into whether additional astronauts could be enlisted on the already-delayed flight proved that its initial plan was the best. "It really reaffirmed the baseline plan we have in place is the best way to go," Lightfoot told reporters on a May 12 conference call.

Given that the employees of NASA are actual rocket scientists, it makes sense that they would be the one agency immune from President Trump's flaring temper and inability to accept or speak the truth.

A woman accused of murdering four of her young children and their father appeared in a Georgia court Friday morning, smiling and posing for cameras.
Isabel Martinez, 33, made her first court appearance before Gwinnett County Magistrate Judge Michael Thorpe a day after police said she stabbed family members at a residence in Loganville, a small town some 35 miles east of Atlanta. One child, a 9-year-old girl, survived but remained hospitalized with serious injuries, police said.

A smiling Martinez posed for news cameras before her hearing began, giving reporters a double thumbs up. When the judge listed the charges she faces -- five counts of malice murder, five counts of murder and six counts of aggravated assault -- Martinez shook her head "no" and wagged her finger at him.

Martinez also told the judge through a Spanish-language interpreter that she doesn't want an attorney, later adding that the people and her faith are her lawyers.

Cpl. Michele Pihera of the Gwinnett County Police Department said a woman inside the house on Emory Lane on Thursday at 4:47 a.m. ET called 911 to report a stabbing. Pihera later told ABC News that Martinez made that call.
Martinez was immediately detained after responding officers found the bodies of 33-year-old Martin Romero, 10-year-old Isabela Martinez, 7-year-old Dacota Romero, 4-year-old Dillan Romero and 2-year-old Axel Romero inside the home. The hospitalized girl, Diana Romero, remained in serious but stable condition Thursday night, according to police.
Martinez told police she is the mother to all the children and the adult victim was the father. Police believe the family lived together in the house.

Jim Hollandsworth, co-founder of The Path Project, a nonprofit that runs an after-school program that Martinez's children participated in, said the Spanish-speaking family had moved to the largely Hispanic neighborhood just a few months ago.

"The kids were fantastic kids," Hollandsworth said in an interview with ABC affiliate WSB-TV on Thursday. "They had tons to live for and a future ahead of them, so it's awful and devastating."
Martinez was arrested and booked at the Gwinnett County Jail on Thursday, where she is being held without bond, police said.

Martinez was arrested and booked at the Gwinnett County Jail on Thursday, where she is being held without bond, police said.

An immigration hold was also placed on Martinez, but police didn't provide further details.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokesman Bryan Cox told ABC News that Martinez is a Mexican national who illegally entered the United States at an unknown date. She has no prior encounters with the agency, he said.
The immigration hold that ICE issued would only apply if and when Martinez was released, he noted.
Police said Martinez has been "cooperative" with investigators, but the motive for the crimes is not being released.

The Gwinnett County Medical Examiner's Office will conduct autopsies to conclusively determine how each of the victims died, authorities said.

"What prompts a person to take the life of such innocent children and her spouse is something we may never understand," the Gwinnett County Police Department said in a statement Thursday. "This is a horrendous crime not only for the victims but for the extended family, neighborhood and community."
The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Meet caleb that adopted a Horse because of hairstyle

Kaley Cuoco adopted a horse because of same hairstyle

Her Horse and her hairstyle

Kaley Cuoco is a celebrity that can surprise you not because of her backside or other things but her love for her hair.

And she has this to say

In May, she adopted a mini-pony. Yup, a real Little Sebastian-level tiny horse, for all you Parks and Recreation fans out there. Better yet? Her name is Schmooshy and she is truly adorable. She even created a separate Instagram account called “Life With

Schmooshy” filled with adorable photos of the duo, including this photo:

Kaley Cuoco is certainly no stranger to changing things up.
In 2014, she chopped all her hair off and rocked an amazing pixie cut for her role in Burning Bodhi. Rather than give her extensions when she returned to the set of The Big Bang Theory to reprise her role as Penny, the team liked the style so much they wrote it into the script.

What do you say about this!
