REGINA :  yea , you see I do post always that all chart should be something vital, business etc but you will see the same person that charted you yesterday asking you the type of cream I use, the name of my school, if I have eaten ,  etc seriously repeating almost the same thing,  some will tell you they want to join the industry and if you reply their chart fast they will say am cheap, fake etc, some will say they don’t have money , now I will accept spending to make sure they start acting and some will get to the industry and start sleeping around with everything in the industry instead of the main reason why they went into the industry and later stop half way etc and..

INEC withholds certificates of Zamfara gov, Assembly members-elect

“I can confirm to you that we will not issue certificates of return to the governor and House of Assembly members-elect from Zamfara. As for the newly-elected National Assembly members we have already issued certificates, the Commission will meet to decide on the next line of action,” Okoye reitaerated. 

Emmanuel P. Onyekachi, Enugu:

A Court of Appeal sitting in Sokoto set aside the Zamfara High Court judgement; on whose strength the APC fielded candidates for the 2019 governorship, National Assembly and House of Assembly elections. 

Delivering judgement in Sokoto, the presiding judge, Justice Tom Shuaibu Yakubu, said the lower court did not properly evaluate and assess all the evidence put before it before making its judgement.

In that regard, the three member panel of judges, led by justice Yakubu, said on a critical re-evaluation and re-assessment of the evidence by the appellant court, it was discovered that the party did not follow the provision of the Electoral Act, 2010, as amended and the guidelines provided by the party in selecting its candidates.

The judge also held that the party had made two unsuccessful attempts to conduct primaries in the state and list of candidates were not duly submitted to INEC, by the national headquarters of the party.

He said: “We have looked at the exhibits 4, 7 and 8 which are very clear that primary election was not conducted.

“Evidence shows that the state governor only appointed a special committee that later came up with candidates’ names in place of primary elections.

“So far, all evidence constituted that primary election was not conducted; which contravened the electoral law.”

Acknowledging receipt of the Appeal Court ruling, in a statement from the Director Information and Voter Education, Oluwale Osaze-Uzzi, the Commission noted that, although it would study the judgement, it has, in the interim, decided to withhold issuance of certificates of return to the newly-elected governor and House of Assembly members-elect.

“INEC has been served with the judgement of the Court of Appeal, Sokoto, concerning sponsoring of candidates by the APC in Zamfara and is studying same. Consequently, the presentation of certificates of return for the Zamfara governorship and House of Assembly members-elect, scheduled for Wednesday, March 27, 2019 has been suspended,” Osaze-Uzzi said.

Asked the fate of Senators and House of Representatives-elect from Zamfara state, on the platforme of the APC, who have been issued certificates of return, National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye, told Daily Sun the Commission will meet very soon to take decision on that. 

TheIndependent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said it will not issue certificates of return to the All Progressives Congress (APC) Zamfara state governor-elect and the House of Assembly members-elect, following the ruling of the Sokoto Division of the Court of Appeal, on Monday.

EFCC arrests 19 suspected Yahoo Boys in Port Harcourt

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Port Harcourt Zonal Office have arrested six suspected internet fraudsters at their hotel hideout in Rumuigbo, Port Harcourt, Rivers.

A Press Statement issued in Abuja on Sunday by the commission’s spokesman, Mr Tony Orilade said they were arrested in a sting operation.

According to the statement, the suspects comprises four men and two women; Oghenekewe Akinnawo, Kemka Amadi, Revelation Macaulay, Damilola Oyinloye, Mary Ndubuisi and Jennifer Vandi.

Orilade said that their arrest followed series of intelligence report linking them to alleged fraudulent activities ranging from love scam on numerous dating sites, obtaining money by false pretences and other fraud still being investigated.

“Several items were recovered from them at the point of arrest which includes three exotic cars, four iPhones, four laptops; one iPad, one iron sealed stamp; cheque books, car number plates and two un-used bullets.”

In a related development, the Enugu Zonal Office of the commission has arrested 13 suspects for allegedly engaging in cyber crime and internet fraud.

“Three of the suspects were arrested at Awka, Anambra State, following intelligence reports and surveillance carried out on them.

“Six were arrested at Ngwo in Enugu State, while four were arrested at an estate in Abakpa area of Enugu State.

“Items recovered from them include nine exotic cars, laptops, printers, cameras, phones, expensive drinks and other personal effects.”

The Zonal Head of the South East Zone of the commission, Ahmed Usman said: “we have resolved as part of carrying out the commission’s mandate to stamp out internet scams among others to help in rebuilding the image of the country.”

“Apart from public corruption which affects us locally, and denies us access to basic social amenities, Nigerians are treated badly because of the activities of cyber criminals and this gives us a bad name internationally.

“We are determined to stamp that out,” he said.

CONGRATULATIONS TO HIS EXELLENCY MR. ATIKU ABUBAKAR

Good morning Nigerians, let’s congratulate to the new president in the person of his Excellency president Atiku Abubaka who finally won the election today been 23/02/2019.

Wow this so unbelievable as the president regains power on leadership, many people have been saying that Atiku  is not going to win the election with so many proves.

But they are all in deep shock now because Mr. Atiku Abubaka in the sit as the president of Nigeria, according to the campaign record it’s said that Atiku abubaka dominated the following states.
Abia state, ebonyi, some northern places, rivers, anambra, lagos, abuja, ogun, jos, bayelsa, etc.

Almost all the northern area he has covered all the northern state, and some south east and west, INEC has released the result accordingly.

Mr. President in the person of his Excellency ATIKU Abubaka who is now the current president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubaka won the election with ten million five hundred thousand (10.5 m) votes.

Its a very big challenge and unbelievable result to atiku as the president is going to be sworn in, the result was released this morning by 7:30 am by the INEC chairman as he was calling the result.

It was also reviewed that atiku sent some group of boys to attack the ballot boss, and about five of them was killed instantly and others escaped, now people are asking how they know its atiku that sent them since no one was captured alive they couldn’t defend it, which the reader the them that shut those men will be going to court after the election to defend the killing of those young men.

There is joy in asorock right now as Mr. Atiku Abubaka have won the election today and he has promise to all Nigerians that his first project is to  assure Nigerians a better life

It's quite like when the chef shows you a menu that has only fried rice and jollof rice as the only options and you decide to mess around and order for fried yam and noodles, just because.

Amosun's consensus produced a list of candidates that named him the party's flag bearer for the Ogun Central senatorial district (his second term as governor ends in May) to replace incumbent, Lanre Tejuoso, and also named a current House of Representatives member, Adekunle Akinlade, as the party's consensus candidate to contest in the governorship election.

The list also named dozens of others to contest for several elective seats in the state and in the National Assembly, leading to in-fighting in the state chapter about the fairness of the process.

APC national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, described the governor as an emperor who won't find a home in the party and the governor in turn called the former Edo governor a dictator and the stage was set for some really interesting war of words over the months that followed.

Ogun State governor, Ibikunle Amosun, has been a divisive figure in the APC over the past five months

The Ogun chapter split into two factions and each eventually conducted primary elections that produced different sets of winners in almost all the categories. Even though Amosun was recognised as the party's senatorial candidate in the final list accepted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), his preferred successor lost the governorship ticket to Dapo Abiodun.

Akinlade soon left the APC to pitch his tent with the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) with the full backing of Amosun who has not made his support for him secret while engaging in a very public feud with Oshiomhole and the APC leadership.

[TL;DR] Basically, Amosun, a current APC governor, and flagbearer for the Ogun Central senatorial district, is supporting the party to win the presidential election, and (of course) senatorial election, but he's publicly campaigned against the party in the governorship election that has his preferred candidate contesting from an opposition party against the APC flag bearer. It's like how, if you stress your brain really hard, two plus two is sometimes equals to 22 and not four.

Now that we're all caught up, let's talk about the insanity of Monday's rally that should deeply embarrass the ruling party.

The crowd of APC supporters, torn between loyalty to the party and loyalty to Amosun, became a tool of disgrace, pawns in the game of power played by megalomaniacs.

Long before Buhari's arrival at the venue, violence had broken out between Abiodun's supporters and Akinlade's supporters, for whom it makes no sense to be at an APC rally but let's roll with it for a minute.

The crowd only got worse as the program progressed. The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, was the first to feel its stinging ire after he triggered the crowd's anger by suggesting that they should only vote for APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.

"This is an APC rally. I belong to APC and I'll vote APC, and I expect that for all of us who are here, we vote for the APC from beginning to the end," he said but was drowned out by chants of "APM!" from the crowd.

Former Osun State governor, Rauf Aregbesola, was the next to fall as he came on stage to beg the crowd, like a bunch of obstinate children, to toe the party line and only vote for its candidates.

The biggest jeers of the day were reserved for Oshiomhole who came on the stage to chants of "Ole! Ole! (Yoruba for 'thief')", a situation that only worsened when he mentioned Abiodun's name as the party's choice.

He was soon swarmed by security operatives after a projectile was launched at the stage and his speech had to be brought to an abrupt end.

To save face, Amosun, the resident master puppeteer and Architect-in-Chief, made a return to the stage to appeal to the crowd to behave itself, like little children on a short leash, in the presence of the president.

"I beg you in the name of God. Please, our father (Buhari) is here, please don't disgrace me here," he told the unruly crowd.

When Buhari eventually made his way to the stage, he was more cautious about the big elephant in the room and, rather spinelessly, told the crowd to vote for whomever it chooses for the elections.

"I appeal to you to practice your civil rights to come out next Saturday and on the 2nd of March and choose whoever you like across the parties. This is your right and I have no problem about it," he said as the crowd cheered his tacit approval.

However, the president's next action, an unavoidable campaign rally ritual, was to raise Abiodun's hand as endorsement of his candidacy as the party's flag bearer.
